Tenet Healthcare Corporation Contracts With MedeFinance For Revenue Cycle Management Solution in 36 Southeastern Hospitals
ATB Manager™ to Provide Tenet System-Wide Performance Measurement Metrics For Financial Improvement OAKLAND, Calif.– January 3, 2003 — Emeryville-based MedeFinance, a leading provider of web-based revenue cycle management solutions for the healthcare industry, announced today that Tenet Healthcare Corporation (THC), one of the nation’s largest investor-owned integrated delivery networks headquartered in Santa Barbara, Calif., has contracted to install ATB Manager for the 36 Hospitals that comprise its southern states region. ATB Manager is one of a suite of modules developed by MedeFinance to help hospital management measure and monitor key performance metrics of the revenue and accounts receivable cycle. ATB Manager will integrate and standardize financial information for Tenet executives and provide hospital CFOs with metrics for accountability to benchmark where financial performance can be significantly improved.
