Summit Highlights
David Lubinski from Microsoft shared valuable insight into new technologies and software as a service (SaaS) that can empower their organizations to bridge the information gaps.
David Strickler from The Advisory Board Company provided a comprehensive view of emerging trends, including increasing governmental scrutiny and best practices in optimizing patient access, maximizing payer contracts reimbursements and ensuring comprehensive charge capture.
Tom Yoesle from Orlando Regional Healthcare presented an energetic overview of how he uses MedeFinance to lead financial improvements across the revenue cycle and through the operations of his 600 staff members.
Janice Ridling and Dena Moye from Baptist Health System, Birmingham walked attendees through how they are bridging information gaps between financial management and business operations with tailored analytics that pinpoint receivables, bad debt sources and charity care administration.
Benjamin Isgur from PriceWaterhouseCoopers provided a comprehensive perspective into the challenges of charity care and strategies to better administer programs. He also shared with the group the latest policies and legislation that could affect charity care.
Claire Manning from Kaiser Permanente presented her experiences of re-engineering the Kaiser Medical Financial Assistance Programs to better manage the charity care performance while implementing SOX compliance policies.
As follow-up to the Fall 2005 Leadership Summit Nancy Cody from St. Peter’s Albany, shared how she has led immediate and measurable results within 90 days in self pay collections using MedeFinance Self Pay Analytics.
Attendees also enjoyed the MedeFinance informative performances of, “Mede Jeopardy” and “MedeIdol” that showcased innovative uses of MedeFinance.
